Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2026: A Car Service and Chauffeur Guide to FLIBS
Six venues, more than 1,300 boats and one barrier island. How to plan your transportation so you spend the show on the docks, not in a parking line.
Every fall, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show turns the Venice of America into the largest in-water boat show in the world. Buyers, brokers, builders, captains and crews arrive from every continent, and for five days the stretch of A1A between Las Olas and Port Everglades is the busiest road in Broward County.
The show is not one building. It is six venues strung along the water, and a serious buyer's day moves between them on a broker's timetable. This guide covers the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2026 dates and locations, and how to get between the docks, the hotels and the airport without losing an afternoon to a shuttle line.

The Six FLIBS 2026 Locations
Broward County Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard: the official parking location and the usual starting point.
Bahia Mar Yachting Center on A1A: the historic heart of the show.
Hall of Fame Marina and Las Olas Marina: a short walk north of Bahia Mar.
Pier Sixty-Six Marina and the Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six South: by the 17th Street Causeway, near Port Everglades.
Free shuttles and golf carts link the Convention Center with Bahia Mar and the Superyacht Village, and water taxis run from an hour before opening to an hour after closing ($15 for a one-day pass, $65 for five days). A separate shuttle connects the Brightline Fort Lauderdale station with the Riverside Hotel for visitors coming up by train.
Getting Between the Docks
Shuttles and water taxis work well for browsing. They work less well when a broker has booked you aboard a 120-foot yacht at Pier Sixty-Six at 2 p.m. and a sport-fisher at Bahia Mar at 3 p.m. Larger yachts are often shown by appointment, and a missed slot can mean waiting until the next day.
With a chauffeur, you are dropped at the gate of the venue you need and collected from the one you finish at. The car waits nearby while you are aboard, so brochures, spec sheets and a change of shoes stay in it. Most buyers book show days by the hour for exactly this reason; if you are deciding between hourly and single rides, our hourly vs. point-to-point guide covers it, and rates and minimums are on the hourly chauffeur service page.
For Brokers and Exhibitors: Collecting Your Clients
The buyer you are courting should not be standing in a rideshare zone. Brokerages and builders send a car to collect clients from their hotel, from FLL airport, or planeside at Fort Lauderdale Executive (FXE) or the FLL private terminals, and bring them straight to the yacht. The chauffeur can hold for the showing and take the client on to lunch or back to the jet. Company hosting is covered on our corporate transportation page.
Captains, Crew and Show Staff
Boat show week also moves people who never see the show floor: crew flying in to prepare a yacht for display, captains heading home after delivery, and exhibitor teams running between a hotel and the docks every morning. A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a chauffeur carries a full crew with their bags in one run, and reservations are open 24/7 for early-morning and late-night pickups. For a single crew member with luggage, an SUV is usually enough.
Staying in Miami or Palm Beach?
Fort Lauderdale hotels fill quickly in show week, and many visitors stay in Miami or Palm Beach instead. That makes the daily commute the longest part of the day. Instead of driving I-95 and paying for show parking, book a car service from Miami to Fort Lauderdale (or from West Palm Beach) for the mornings and evenings you need it. If you are flying into Miami, our MIA airport car service covers the drive north. Closer to the show, beachfront hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton, W Fort Lauderdale and Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale are minutes from Bahia Mar, and Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina sits beside the Superyacht Village.
