Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport · ATL

ATL Airport Car Service

Opulent Transport provides private black car and chauffeur service to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, 24 hours a day. Your chauffeur tracks your flight, meets you at the correct terminal, and takes you directly to Buckhead, Midtown, downtown Atlanta, the Perimeter, or anywhere in metro Atlanta. Your rate is quoted before you confirm, with no surge pricing.

ATL is the busiest passenger airport in the world, and its domestic and international terminals sit on opposite sides of the airfield with separate road access. A pickup planned for the wrong side can cost you half an hour, so we confirm yours by flight number before you land.

ATL Terminals

North, South or International

Domestic Terminal. On the west side of the airfield, off I-85, with a North and a South side. Delta passengers generally use South baggage claim and most other airlines use North. Your chauffeur waits on the side that matches your flight.

Maj. Gen. Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal. On the east side, off I-75, serving Concourse F and many Concourse E flights. Arriving international passengers clear customs here and collect their bags.

Some international passengers re-check their bags and ride the Plane Train to the Domestic Terminal instead. If that is your plan, tell us: it changes where your car should be.

Your Pickup

Curbside or Meet and Greet

Curbside. Send your chauffeur a message when you have your bags, and they tell you the door and the vehicle to look for. It suits travellers with a carry-on and a meeting to reach.

Meet and greet. Your chauffeur waits inside at baggage claim with a name sign, helps with your luggage, and walks you to the vehicle. Many clients book this for first-time visitors, guests, and clients they are hosting in Atlanta.

Complimentary wait time is 30 minutes for domestic arrivals and 60 minutes for international arrivals, counted from when the aircraft lands. You never pay a waiting fee for an airline delay.

Timing

Drive Times from ATL

These are usual ranges outside of rush hour. The Downtown Connector, where I-75 and I-85 run together, and the top end of I-285 can add thirty minutes or more on a weekday afternoon or a game day, so we plan your pickup around the hour you are travelling.

  • College Park and the Georgia International Convention Center: about 10 minutes
  • Downtown Atlanta, Georgia World Congress Center and Mercedes-Benz Stadium: 15 to 25 minutes
  • Midtown and Georgia Tech: 20 to 30 minutes
  • Decatur and Emory: 25 to 35 minutes
  • Buckhead: 30 to 45 minutes
  • Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and the Perimeter: 35 to 50 minutes
  • Marietta and Truist Park: 35 to 55 minutes
  • Alpharetta: 45 to 60 minutes

Flying out of Atlanta? ATL security lines can move slowly at peak times, so we schedule your car service to the airport to reach the terminal about two hours before a domestic flight and three hours before an international one. Domestic departures and international departures use different roads, so tell us your airline when you book.

Common Questions

Atlanta Airport Car Service FAQ

How long is the ride from Atlanta airport to Buckhead?

Usually 30 to 45 minutes outside of rush hour, and longer on a weekday afternoon when the Downtown Connector is busy. Your chauffeur chooses the route for the hour you are travelling.

Which ATL terminal will my chauffeur go to?

The one that matches your flight number: Domestic North, Domestic South, or the International Terminal. Your confirmation includes your chauffeur's contact details, so a late gate or plan change is one message away.

Can you take a group from Hartsfield-Jackson to a game or convention?

Yes. A Sprinter van carries up to fourteen, and larger groups can travel in several vehicles under one dispatcher. Sprinter and multi-vehicle bookings need 3 days' notice to cancel, so reserve early for big events. Our Atlanta game day guide covers timing.

Do you offer limo service at Atlanta airport?

Our own fleet is executive sedans, luxury SUVs, and Sprinter vans, which is what most airport limo clients want today. If you would like a stretch limousine or party bus, we arrange one through vetted partners.
